Abstract

Economic development is one of the basic prerequisites for overcoming the numerous difficulties that Bosnia and Herzegovina has been facing for the last two decades. Its realization largely depends on the effective protection of competition, which in Bosnia and Herzegovina is ensured by the Competition Council as an independent body. The basic instruments of action of this body are administrative and legal in nature. Therefore, this paper discusses the administrative and legal aspects of competition protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this respect, the normative, organizational and personnel assumptions of protection are identified competition, the basic forms of competition protection are determined, and the effects of administrative-procedural competition protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina are analyzed in particular. Finally, based on the performed analysis, the author presents certain proposals for the future legal regulation of certain significant issues in the field of competition protection.
