The paper deals with the analysis of normative frameworks and judicial practice in relation to freedom of expression, defined in Article 10 of the European Convention on Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the relationship that exists between freedom of expression on the one hand, and other rights from the Convention on the other foreign. In this regard, the paper emphasizes the issues of respect for the same rights in the sphere of journalism and the media in general, ways of balancing conflicting rights, the issue of defamation, protecting the confidentiality of journalistic sources, and, as increasingly important, the issue of the legal position of "whistleblowers".
