Abstract

In this paper, the author deals with the issue of patient responsibility and responsibility for the violation of the patient's rights in the process of providing health care. The rights, obligations and responsibility of patients in health care is an insufficiently studied area in our legal science. Establishing the patient's rights in the national legislation requires a more detailed and comprehensive look at the legal aspects of patient responsibility and responsibility for the violation of patient rights. Obligations and responsibility of the patient refer to: the patient's responsibility for personal health, the patient's responsibility towards other users of health care, the patient's responsibility towards health workers and associates and the patient's responsibility towards the social community. Liability for the violation of the patient's rights was analyzed through different forms of liability: disciplinary, misdemeanor, civil and criminal. Where there is no responsibility, there is no rule of law. The research was carried out in order to improve the legal de lege ferenda the framework of their regulation in accordance with the legal order, international documents and the practice of neighboring countries.
