Abstract

In today's modern age, when disputes are an indispensable companion of business relations, alternative dispute resolution is gaining importance compared to regular forms of dispute resolution through the courts. The World Trade Organization (WTO) owes its significance to the high degree of enforcement of decisions made through arbitration. In this paper, two decisions from the field of business law and industrial property law will be presented, with a clear indication of the impact of arbitration decisions on international business.
