POLITICAL RIGHTS IN THE CONTEXT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract

The paper analyzes the importance of political rights of citizens in a democratic society and legal system. The first part of the paper presents the basic characteristics of political rights. Then attention was paid to the relationship between political and human rights. In particular, an extensive description of the types of political rights was given, so that in the last part of the work, additional fragmentation of the topic was carried out in such a way that the relationship between electoral rights and political rights was studied.
